Dr. Gishan Ratnayake, co-founder of MBSPro, is a leading Radiation Oncologist in Brisbane, specializing in breast, lung, prostate, and head and neck cancers. Holding an MBBS, MPhil, and FRANZCR, he is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and practices at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Icon Cancer Centre. With a focus on patient-centered care and innovative technologies, including AI in healthcare, Dr. Ratnayake brings his expertise to MBSPro to address administrative challenges across medical specialties. As collaborators, Dr. Going and Dr. Ratnayake are united in their vision to advocate for clinicians, ensuring fair compensation and greater autonomy so that doctors can prioritize exceptional care over bureaucracy.
Dr. Casey Going, a Queensland-based General Practitioner, is the co-founder of MBSPro, a innovative platform aimed at streamlining Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) billing and reducing administrative burdens for Australian GPs. A graduate of the University of Queensland and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr. Going has built a distinguished career in rural and hospital medicine. He serves as Director of Condamine Medical Centre driven by his own experiences with the inefficiencies of paperwork and billing complexities, Dr. Going established MBSPro in late 2024 to empower GPs with tools that automate coding, ensure ethical compliance, and allow more time for patient care, reflecting his commitment to transforming general practice into a more rewarding profession.
